My Preferred Search Engine

Out of all of the many search engines out there, two of the most popular are yahoo search and google search. I have a yahoo account that I use on a daily basis. The yahoo search bar is always readily available and I will use it from time to time. However, most of the time, I will go to the trouble of opening another different window to do google search. I am also not very sure of why I prefer google over yahoo. It’s rather strange. And yet the reverse is true when it comes to email. I prefer yahoo over gmail. I uses both of them. I do not check my gmail often. I use my Yahoo almost for anything and is always on the top.
One reason for why I prefer the google search over yahoo search may be that google offers one nice big page with a simple search box, whereas the yahoo search box is crammed in at the top of the page. Perhaps I prefer the clean search look.
I am not comfortable using msn for search. I gave up on msn and hotmail a long time ago. Hotmail was my very first email account. However, I was bombarded with so much spam and junk mail, that I threw away the account and move to yahoo.
I’m almost tempted to make myself use yahoo search for a day or maybe even a week, just to see how satisfied I am with the results. However, I will just keep 2 windows open. I would have to cross check all of my yahoo search results with a google search, just to be sure I was getting the information that I really wanted.
It’s strange how some features appeal to one person, while others appeal to someone else. However, when it comes to search engines, it seems that for the most part, google search reigns supreme.
